Just to say hi...... Not that anyone really has the address to my blog or anything....

So it has been eons since I have had a moment to sit and really type a blog. Life is just so busy with two little munchkins around getting into everything.
Lily Ana turned one on August 15th! She is terribly cute! Almost heartbreaking! I can hardly believe my princess is a year. It has passed so fast. She has 3.5 teeth and is walking. Oh and she is trying to talk as well. She has several words now in addition to a few signs.
Ethan (Babycakes) is just growing like a weed. He had some hearing problems so he now has tubes in his ears. So at long last he is blessing the world with the sound of his speech. He is continuing to prove himself to be a very active, intelligent and curious boy.

I've heard God will never give you more than you can handle. Right now I'm having a hard time believing that.
I don't know what it is exactly, but the last month or so has just been overwhelming. I need a break, to sit and relax and clear my head..... but that's just impossible with the hectic lifestyle which has now become routine.
I can't really complain; life is good. Really good. But its just overwhelming sometimes.
Sure this isn't descriptive and well its pretty vague actually.... but I just needed to vent.

Finally! We are back on solid ground!
As many of my close companions know, we have been having some financial issues since I have left work. Finally, after months of struggling we are back on solid ground! There is no way to accurately describe the relief that comes with this!
We have been adjusting things in the finance department around here for a while and at last things are working for us. Plus our income tax return paying off ALL of our credit cards and me having a beautiful new baby to care for things are finally looking up! Sure we aren't by any means wealthy, but now at least we are comfortable.
The clouds have parted, the struggle is over and the stress has finally left. All I can say is we truly are blessed.

We were planning on moving, so any of you who are still wondering about that.... WE'RE STAYING! I would love a change of scenery but I am rather attatched our circle of friends in this area.
So thank you all for your support during the hard times!

Oh and one last thing... Oscar is back! Three cheers for Oscar! We are so glad he is back home!

I'm doing the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Walk!

Monday, January 15, 2007

Wow! So yesterday I had my first At Home America party! It was great! My friend Alex was the hostess and we had a blast!
I signed up for selling At Home America last week and was really nervous about having my first party so soon. But I bit the bullet and did well! Sure I was nervous but it wasn't as hard as I thought. It was actually pretty easy! And sales were pretty good too! I'm still waiting on a few to email their orders as well. Looks like meeting the $1000 mark to get my startup kit free is going to be easier than I thought!
Aside from that, it was so fun! Being a SAHM there aren't many occasions I get to hang out with a group of women and have some adult conversations. So that just made the day that much better! I don't have pictures to post yet, but hopefully will soon!

And in case you don't already have the link to my avon webpage....

I've been toying around with Avon for over a year now and love it. (Though it does take a lot of time!)

Oh No!
So I'm all hyped about my first pair of slippers... twinkletoes by knitty.com. Well turns out I've made a boo-boo!
When you do a wrap an turn evidently there is a whole WRAPPING part of that I'm missing out on! Lol. I've just been turning. I thought these little eyelet like holes were odd! Oh well. I'm to the end of the pattern and I'm not going back. They're just for me and well I don't really care enough to rip. So I'll just do the second one wrong as well.
Next time I'll get it right! I'm still proud of them anyway... once I finish I'll post pics.

And becuase the more I post this link the more it will come up on google....

WoW! I CAN DO IT!
So recently I taught myself how to knit on DPNs. I thought it would be awful but no, it wasn't so bad. Then I came across a pattern that made me all giddy, like a kid in the candy store!
http://www.knitty.com/issuewinter06/PATTtwinkletoes.html
They are amazingly easy! Ok so sure I had a few issues and they are still flawed but hell they are just for me so what do I care? I have one almost complete and it is so comfy (yes I keep trying it on)
I'm making it out of some cashmere yarn I caught on clearence so they are just perfectly soft and wonderful!
Yes I really do impress myself!
You can check out the pattern maker's blog at http://www.chloesparkle.blogspot.com/ if you feel so inclined.
This patter makes me feel like a knitster pro! Horray for super cute and yet not too complicated paterns!

Oh wait, and Merry Christmas and all that Jazz. Yes it was fun, yes I need to post pics, feel free to email me demanding some. I'll post one that I've uploaded already while I'm here.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
I love the pic! Of course I love my kids so naturally their pics are special to me..... Well I relaly should be in bed (This started as me just coming online to check the pattern)
God Bless!
